In brief, you should know that the HRRA is a great place for competitive riders of all ages. Located in Salida, Colorado, we offer Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrels, Poles, Flags, and Goat tie. Roping Club is not only a Chaffee County tradition, it is a place where families enjoy the company of one another, animals included, while providing a constructive and rewarding way for kids and parents to be involved together. The 12 week season starts in May with events normally starting at 5:30 in the evening on Wednesdays. Events end when we are done - and no sooner! Nothing but fun and good times! Hope to see you there.
The club is comprised of families from Chaffee and surrounding counties and members compete in roping and speed events accumulating points toward year end awards.
